I just stumbled onto these...

Not much concrete information on these pipes but it is nice to see more after market items coming.

To me they look like a marriage of the Remus and Raask pipes...

OOOOOOOOOOOH...... NICE!

Not too long.
Tucked up to the swing arm.
Lookin' BUTCH!

Hay... and get a load of this:
D&D Say:

"....D&D has enhanced the riding experience by increasing the tone from the muffler through dyno-tuned slip-ons.

After an easy and straight forward installation process, the D&D 2010 Triumph Thunderbird Boss slip-ons will increase low end torque by as much as 10%."

'DYNO-TUNED Slip-ons' / '... an easy and straight forward installation...'
- So simply: Stock off - D&D on?!
- Would mean for me, no CAT removal.
- Low end torque increase
- Dyno-tuned already!?

Sweeeeeet!

agreed i would also like to see proof, that not so say slipons wont offer performance increases but id like to see the dyno sheet.

Agreed. They mention a specific tune download (I'm assuming the TOR tune) is the only thing needed. I'd be surprised if they added 10 lbs of torque but that would be great if they did... that just means my BC pipes will give me even more. We shall see. I will in all likelihood be installing the pipes before the BB kit so I'll get a chance to see a nice stair step increase in power.

These pipes look OK to me. I wish they would of tapered them some though. All of these recent pipes seem to lack any subtlety. I do like elements of them though.

Same here. I don't doubt the right pipes could increase it that much, but that would likely be the outside limits and i cant imagine they would add that much with the TOR tune. I'd have a hard time putting then on the bike because of the non tapered look, but with a 10 Lb gain it would be a possibility.

Yes they have added 11.6 ft. lbs of torque. Stock bike on their dyno was running 89 ft. lbs of torque and with the download and slip ons it was pushing 100.6 ft. lbs of torque. I have a sound clip and from the dyno and they sound a bit louder then the TORs and have no popping on decel... Cost is $544

Wow....i may have to stare at these a while and hopefully learn to like them ! Thats as much as the BB kit supposedly makes, that is, WITH pipes. can you post the clip? I assume they are cat-less, and it makes me wonder if all cat-less pipes for the Tbird will be equally as gainfull or at least close. I'm trying to like them but that side view just bothers me with that kink in the middle instead of the straight line the stock or tors offer.. The rear-ish view isn't bad tho.

Hmmm....the max torque w/o the pipes appears to be more like 95, so that would be 5-6 Lbs more, not 11. Where did you get that figure? On the brighter side, thats w/o cat removal and w/o free flo filter, so the BC's could potentially be better as gains go, possibly much better with a tuneboy tune.

Ok , that's it , I am lost between these and Raask. I 'think' I like the Raask better but gaining that amount of torque with cat in place is really good ! Price is okay too.

Just talked to D&D and they said there will be a video sound clip available in the next day or two. They also said they will be one the market in about a week.

I like the looks and the sound A LOT. I played the sound clip on real speakers to get the sound as close to real as possible. I am a bit confused about one thing. Why are their numbers for stock different from Triumphs dyno numbers?

Ahh Eddy,

After helping me all these years do great things to the Speedmaster, may I say it is a pleasure for me to be your first customer to order the D and D's from you.

Thanks for looking into things and being there for us.
